How to Care for Your Amali So It Lasts More Than One Summer

The most common reason swimwear dies early isn't the fabric, it's the washing machine. Here's exactly how I look after every Amali piece so it holds its shape season after season, not just the first one.

Rinse after every wear

Chlorine, salt water, sunscreen, and sweat all break fabric down over time, even when you can't see it happening. A quick rinse in cold water after every wear is the single biggest thing you can do to make a piece last.

Lay flat, out of direct sun

Avoid the washing machine and dryer completely. Heat and tumbling are what stretch out linings and warp shape fastest. Lay your piece flat to dry, out of direct sunlight, and it will hold its structure for years instead of months.

Amali is made to age well, just like the women who wear it.

Rotate, don't overwear one piece

This is where reversible design earns its keep. Wearing the same piece every single day, even a well made one, wears it out faster. Reverse it, or alternate between two pieces, and you halve the wear on each side while doubling how many looks you get.

Why this actually matters

Caring for a piece properly is the other half of buying less. A bikini that lasts three summers instead of one is the whole point of paying a bit more for something built properly in the first place.
